Applications are invited from Pakistani individuals, for the following vacant post(s) on Contract Basis.
FACULTY POSITIONS
1. Associate Professor ( BS -20)
Business Administration
Criteria for Appointment • PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized university/institution.
• 10-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. OR
• 5-years post-PhD teaching/ research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• 10 publications (with at least 4 publications in the last five years) in the HEC recognized journals. Computer Science
Criteria for Appointment • PhD in the relevant field from AEC recognized university/institution.
• 10-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization out of which 2 — years must be teaching experience.
OR
• 5-years post-PhD teaching/ research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• 10 publications (with at least 4 publications in the last five years) in the HEC recognized journals.
2. Assistant Professor (BS-19)

Criteria for Appointment • PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized university/institution. OR
• Master's degree (foreign) or M.Phil (Pakistan) or equivalent degrees awarded after 18 years of education as determined by HEC in the relevant field from HEC recognized university/institution.
• 4 years teaching/ research experience in a recognized university or a post-graduation institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national.
3. Lecturer (BS-18)

• Soil and Environmental Sciences
• Agri. Entomology First Class Master's Degree or Equivalent degree after 16 years of education in the relevant filed from an HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3'd division in the academic career.
Condition of no 3'd Division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as Lecturer in University or Degree Awarding Intuitions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz.
M.Phil/Ph.,D or equivalent degree with not more than one 3'd division in entire academic career. Furthermore, the candidate with 2s Division in the Master's Degree but holding higher degree i.e. M.Phil/PhD or equivalent degree with 18 years of education may be considered.
ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS
1. Registrar, (135-20) Master degree with at least 2nd division, and 13 years administrative experience in 85-17 or above.
2. Project Director, (BS-19) B.Sc Civil Engineering from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification with 13 years experience of professional work specially in construction and maintenance of building.
3. Controller of Examinations, (BS-19) Master Degree at least 2" Division from a recognized University with 13 years administrative experience in grade 17 or above in a University or Education Department.
4. Treasurer (BS-19) Having professional degree such as CA or MBA (Finance), along with relevant experience of 05 years or 10 years, respectively.
However, for such a position, ACMA / FCMA are to be considered as well, having a relevant experience of 05 years Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in 2nd Division from a recognized institution with 12 years experience including 7 years of managing security of an organization of good standing.
5. Chief Security Officer (BS-19)
Holding valid light weapons license, well-conversant with potential breaches of security and ability to build rapport with police & other investigating agencies.
Retiring Military persons above the rank of Major meeting the above criteria are encouraged to apply.6. Assistant Controller of Examinations, B5-17 A graduate from HEC recognized university with 3 years Administrative Experience in a University or Education Department.
7. Assistant Treasurer, BS-17 A graduate from HEC recognized university with 3 years Administrative Experience in a University or Education Department.
8. Assistant Librarian, BS-17
MSc from HEC recognized University with two years experience in Academic Library. The candidate must have good IT skills.
9. Assistant Director Physical Education (Male), BS-17
Master Degree in Sports Sciences with 2 years relevant experience.
10. Medical Officer (Male), (BS 17)
MBBS from a recognized University with 3 years of practical experience.
11. Transport Officer, (BS-17)
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution. 5 years experience of maintenance and management of transport fleet in a well reputed organization OR Retired Military officer having relevant qualification and experience are encouraged to apply,
12. Web Master, (BS 17)
For years BCS (Hons) / 8S(CS) or equivalent having at least two years of experience in the field of web designing and maintaining the web site, knowledge of ASP, JSP, PHP, Ped, HTML and Flash, Corel Draw & Adobe Photo Shop is required.
13. Research Assistant (B5-16)
Master Degree or sixteen years education wit atleast rd division / C grade from a recognized University.
14. Personal Assistant, (BS-16)
Graduate from an HEC recognized University with a speed of 120 words per minute in English Short Hand and 40 words per minute in typewriting respectively.
15. Computer Operator, (BS 14)
FA/F. Sc. 2nd division (Minimum) C grade from a recognized. board. Must have typing speed of 40 words per minute.
Preference will be given to those who have knowledge of MS office/3 years' experience as

Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized board and speed of 100 words per minute in English Short Hand and 40 words per minute in typewriting.
17. Sub Engineer, (BS 11)
Diploma in 2'd division in requisite discipline of Engineering after under-going a minimum of three years of course from the PBTE, or equivalent qualification.
18. Junior Clerk (BS-11)
Intermediate e division from a recognized university or Board or equivalent qualification. Ability to type a speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Urdu.
19. Imam Masjid, (BS-9)
Graduate with Islamic Studies (elective) or Fazil Dars-e-Nizami from a recognized Institute / Madrisa.
20. Lab Assistant (BS-7)
Matric with science at lease 2° division. Tractor Driver, (BS-5) Middle Pass plus HTV license with 05 years of tractor driving experience.
21. Electrician, (BS-5)
A literate person with 03 years of practical experience.
22. Plumber, (BS-5)
A Literate person with 03 years of practical experience.
23. Driver, (BS-5)
Should be able to read and write.
Should be qualified Motor Car Driver with HTV license.
24. Lab Attendant (BS-2)
Matric with 2nd division / C grade.

Note:
As per University Act, appointments of Registrar, Treasurer and Controller of examinations shall be made for a period of three years.
1. How to apply:
The candidates have to submit OS complete sets of application for the post of Associate Professor and 03 complete sets of application for the post of Assistant Professor, Lecturer & two sets of other posts bearing attested copies of degrees, certificates, one photograph for each set and a crossed bank draft I Challan & postal order for BPS-18 and above worth Rs. 1200/-, BPS-16 & 17 worth Rs. 1000/-, BPS-05 to 15 worth Rs. 302/- in favour of the Treasurer, Ghazi University, D.G. Khan.
2. The University reserves the rights;
i. Not to fill any vacancy without assigning any reasons thereof or consider a person for appointment in a lower cadre against the post(s) advertised.
ii. To short list the candidates on the basis of academic qualifications/ tests as may be prescribed by the university.
